DIRECTIONS
FROM SHINJUKU TO SHIMOTAKAIDO
From Shinjuku Station catch the Keio Line (KO) or the Keio New Line bound
for Keio-Hachioji Station, Hashimoto Station, or Takaosanguchi Station,
etc. toward the west. Please take only either the local or rapid; the express
does not stop at Shimotakaido.
There are five stations in between Shinjuku and Shimotakaido: Hatsudai,
Hatagaya, Sasazuka, Daitabashi, and Meidai-Mae. The number of stops depends
on which train you take.
FROM SHIBUYA TO SHIMOTAKAIDO
From Shibuya Station, catch the Keio-Inogashira Line (IN) express, local, or rapid bound for Kichioji westward, and get off at Meidai-Mae Station. If you take the express at Shibuya you will only ride two stops: Shimo-Kitazawa, then Meidai-Mae. From Meidai-Mae, take the Keio Line local or rapid bound for Keio-Hachioji, Hashimoto, etc. westward to Shimotakaido Station. Shimotakaido is one station from Meidai-Mae, so there are no stops.
From Shimotakaido to Tokyo Covenant Church
The following are instructions on how to get to Tokyo Covenant Church through Shimotakaido Station's West Exit.
Once you are at the bottom of Shimotakaido's West Exit stairs, make a "U"
turn to your left and exit the station; SMBC (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp)
will be on your left.
Continue down this road until you hit the "T" section, then turn
right.
When you come to the four-way intersection, turn left.
Continue down this road.
You will come to this shoe repair shop on your right.
Turn right here.
Continue down this road until you come to Tokyo Covenant Church on your
left.
Continue round to the front of the building for the main entrance.
